*** The Official Elite: Dangerous Thread ***

An odd first impressions vid :D

As said, you are facing the wrong way and also you are not using bow thrusters, which also makes lining up much easier.

Next time you on Pagan pop into elite channel mate will talk you through it.

After a year off from Elite im back into it and really enjoying it now where is the best place to go for getting tasty ship components to please Engineers

Im looking for sites to go kill lakons to get the good stuff am I right in thinking Anarchy systems resource or Arms dealers? and where is good location.

Did the spamming level 1 a million times to get to 5 now just need the trick parts

Merry Christmas;)

Okay so i got my level 5 fsd upgrade, only had enough for 3 spins so i'll do it again later, i'm liking my 25ly jump in the conda with all the kit active, bet i could get it to 30 if i strip down.

might level 4 my diamondback scout or trade it in for an aspx then level 4 that.

Next upgrades are with the dweller for level 5 distributer and level 4 pulse lasers which will give me access to Lei Cheung who does level 5 shields.

Then i'll grind level 5 power plant for overcharge and some thrusters.

This will be, tedious and annoying

Really? Then why couldn't you even land on a pad hahahahahahahahaha

:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Well, you had to ask like that.

Because the training doesn't tell you you need to be facing a certain way and be a very small distance off the deck.

I'm used to Auto land actually landing you automatically.

Edit, kinda like this.

Not sure how to respond tbh. I asked a question where the intent was to suggest you did the training if you hadn't.

You can buy a 'docking computer'. But that's usually kept for larger ships - like the Conda or Corvette - which are annoying to land manually.

Once you get the hand of it, docking is fairly straight forward. And you learn the correct orientation. Always dock facing the number and away from the two/three 45 degree metal sheet-thingies

Good luck

I have taken a mission and got to the system but cant find the station I am meant to go to, it's this one https://eddb.io/station/62681 I have tried the discovery scanner and found three planets but is it just a case of I need a better scanner to find the rest? not really done any exploring. Thanks

If you're not using an Advanced Discovery Scanner, then that's your problem. The normal one will only ping a certain distance. Advanced will ping the entire system, no matter how big.

That was it, I bought an advanced one, scanned and found the planet then sold it so never lost any money :) as it was 1.5 million. Thanks for the help
