They are sweet, been very helpful in restoring the balance after buying the Lynx and buying + fully engineering a Corvette. :-D

I've not played this for soooo long. Think it was when they Nerferd diamond mining. Never even fully engineered.... Anything.

I was mostly bounty hunting but something happened to that last time I played and all the big money got Real hard to get.

People were just starting to buy the Big mother ship things too...

Has gameplay changed much... For the better?/
 
Well I made a cool £1Billion with the Lynx doing rescue missions and it didn't feel like to too much of a drag. Also boosted me up to Elite 4 Trader. I've been setting myself goals against the Inara ranks and medals for sometime and having hovered around Inara standing of 6000 for a while just blasted through to 5200's by picking up the Captain achievement. I've found that attempting to build rank for the the different Inara medals has made me play a bit wider than I would have done otherwise.
 
Couple of pre engineered cargo racks up for grabs in the new CG, no top% shenanigans either so nice and easy :)

Following emergency evacuation efforts in Lhou Mans, attention has turned to repairing all ports damaged in the recent pirate attacks.

Lhou Mans system authorities have placed an open order for quantities of Power Generators, Titanium and Aluminium, and have promised to reward pilots who deliver these commodities to Ryman Enterprise.

Pilots who register at least 1 contribution will receive the following rewards:

- 1x class 5 cargo rack pre-engineered with increased cargo capacity.
- 1x class 6 cargo rack pre-engineered with increased cargo capacity.
- Credits, depending on success tier achieved and individual contribution level.
- Panther Clipper Mk II ZPG Red paint job

The campaign begins on the 14th May 3312 and will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.
 
I need to pop back on to claim the last CG, not sure I will get a chance on the new one. I think I bought a Clipper but not sure if I sold it again.
 
How can you tell if a ship is using gimballed weapons, if I couldn't tell then there's little point spamming chaff. No idea why I just thought of that.

I just use chaff as a general habit of I am being attacked by either laser or cannon weapons. they are cheap to reload so it's not like you have to be precious with the ammo
 
Playing this today to get my space fix after wasting most of the day yesterday trying to get anything out of SC. When people talk about getting rep for Sirius, I assume that's the corp name and it's not the name of an area I just need to do missions in?

Yes, as rgrocott said, Sirius Corp, their headquarters are in the Sirius system which is permit locked, you'll find them in surrounding systems, you'll want to gain rep with them until they invite you to gain a permit for the Sirius system itself.

If you haven't already go to Inara and register you Commander. One of the tools is a chart of how to unlock the Engineers which is really useful and will make it clear why unlocking Qwent to get to Palin is handy.

Yeah I have that, I used it before to find where a specific item was as I was tired of going to random stations and they didn’t have it.
Got it as a pinned window in my VR when I need it :)

I finished mine last night.
not gonna lie. without either a new ship or cargo rack engineering to up my cargo capacity it is likely my 1st and last.

am glad I did it though.

I was going to pay to change it's name...

however the game randomly named it

I can't change that it would be morally wrong!.. Yes I am a complete child ... but you can't argue with random name generation like that. :D

Yes, using a Panther with a load of upgraded racks too, thankfully I also have a system very close by that has a decent supply of metals so I can just park my carrier near the station and do quick fetch/drop runs while watching a movie in the Q3 at the same time.

Always amazes me some of the names that the system comes up with without them being censored :D

If you zoom in you can just make out many lightyear sized images...

Some people just have way to much free time.
