I've just resubscribed as I'm fresh outa hospital after having my gall bladder removed and I can't do anything for the next 2 weeks. I figure Eve is a nice slow paced game that I can enjoy again for a bit

Important thing to learn to do is reduce your transverse velocity. The lower it is, the more likely you are to hit your target. Even a BS can hit at 1km with a large gun if their transverse is low enough.

did didnt overshoot us, the roid was between us and him so when he charged he bumped himself off so fast that instead of ramming us, he orbited us at about 10km range at about 5000ms
It was the second attempt when he nailed otick and send him flying I was expecting all of us to fly off cause i was afterburning out of the way LOL saved my ***

Players can now build outposts (stations) and POSs in 0.0 space and calim sovreignty. Ummm.. weapons have changed a tad, missiles now are in line with all other weapons (large missiles for large targets, small for small.) Hmmm... plenty of shizzle to be honest. You might find the UI a little confusing to start with as its had a bit of a re-arrangement.

10 till 4, I think. Looking forward to this if it includes PvP flagging for Jetcan thieves, which was rumoured.. If it does, I can see my mining setup changing to include a webscrambler and dropping the mining drones for heavy combat

Till 4??? Nooooo. I spent all day getting back into Eve and enjoying it and now its taken away from me! Those evil monsters.

On a slightly different subject, what's everyone's opinion on Macro Mining? I'm not talking about the guys who fly 9 barges and strip mine a system (as I say yesterday), more about it in principle as a tool for single players to effectively AFK mine. I know CCP's stance on it is that it's an exploit, but I'm curious as to other players views.
