***The Official Fifa 10 Thread***

What is level 19+ like, just got to it 18 and lost 6 games in a row, all from crappy lob goals, its just crap, totally losing the plot with this game now, I want to play football not play ultra defense, never seen a goal scored with some decent passing or shots, its just same old chicken moves.

One more that I scored earlier in an arena mess about. :)

Level 24-25 here and to be honest it's hard finding an opponent at that level who doesn't quit, I've had a lot of rage quitters recently and as far as I know it doesn't give you any XP if they quit the game, it just adds a win to your record but you don't actually progress any higher. I have to say though in contrast to One More Solo I don't get matched up against people who cut back very often, most goals I concede come from crosses.

I'm level 29 and it's quite cheap at higher levels, there are lots of Real Madrid abusers playing with Kaka, Ronaldo, Higuain and Benzema up front. You can't afford to lose the ball in your half because it'll fall to one of them and the other three will muscle past your defence and receive a through ball easily.

does anyone suffer long loading times whilst checking for squad updates just before playing a ranked match?

Mine takes ages, and just lately I've been stuck in the arena when the game first loads, I get the spinny thing on the left side of the screen but nothing ever happens unless I turn the PS3 off and back on. :(

The "Switch Player" and the "Strength" attribute is SERIOUSLY FLAWED in this game. It's nearly unplayabe. Pathetic Pathetic Pathetic. Seriously hope they change it in Fifa 11 or im going to back to PES.

Love this game but the above has just stopped me playing it.

"ITS DROGBA ON THE BALL, HES BULLDOZED HIS WAY THROUGH 11 PLAYERS" Pathetic Pathetic Pathetic Pathetic. **** EA.

Against the CPU it's pretty cheap because it can be beaten easily this way, but when playing against, you can counter this with good timing and watching the play.

Any tips on useful skills to get better at - always considered them showboating so never bother to develop them for my game (considering the disadvantages outweighing the advantages for most situations/positions) but like to try and add a few to my game...

I tend to stick with the McGeady spin and Ronaldo chop down the wing to allow me to cut in and step-overs to tr and win fouls in good spots - find proper trapping the ball makes getting the ball away from an opponent and turning so easy...

Im not particular new to this game, jsut want to use skills outside of just doing it to rub it in...

ps3ud0

The only skills I find my self using is bridging and the occasional roulette. I did manage to get someone online with an elastico once, it was my proudest moment :D Though they did thrash me 4-1 :p

Roulette is definitely a good one to draw fouls or occasionally beat a man.

I've found in FIFA 10 and WC 10 that if you get one on one with the keeper, just McGeady/360 spin and 8-9 times out of 10 you'll get the keeper sent off because he'll end up coming through the back of you (as you've turned about 180 degrees) to get the ball.

It's a cheap tactic but helps if you're getting beaten :p

Using the chop left/right when sprinting at speed can normally turn a defence inside out.

Anyone come up against cheaters/glitchers on UT?

Me and a mate was playing an online cup and he had a terrible team so we thought it would be an easy win.....but o no, somehow he managed to get on our team and started scoring own goals and getting players sent off.

I've never managed to get the keeper sent off for some truly shocking tackles- gained lots of penalties though from a fake shot to go round the keeper.

I have not come across this. Does it happen often to you?
