Im Notts County at the moment in Manager mode, Playing on world class difficulty. Currently lying 9th with 10 points from 7 games.

My players have the fitness of a bag of chips. Once i get some more money i will upgarde the fitness coach (currently at 4).

I am enjoying it though, its just a hard slog trying to keep the miserable chairman happy.
 
Hi Guys. I'm in a bit of a hurry so unable to read most of the last pages but i've had a flick through.

What is the general verdict for this game then? Is it worth paying £40 for what could just be a yearly update?

My plan is to wait till the price drops or I pick up a second hand copy. Is this advisable?

considering that you can get it for £25 if you look in the right places it's not worth paying £40 for :p

It's a definite buy imo, seems a vast improvement in game play, not just a data update.

Ooops..... Well. I managed to get to the january transfer window, just about to buy 3 new players for my push for promotion. I was lying 5th in the table 10 points adrift and i got sacked.

Now im Arsenal.
 
I keep drawing 0-0 in this. On world class. It is really hard.

One major annoyance is that everytime i finally skin someone with lennon, they just foul me and I have a useless free kick. I am finding it really hard to create chances in this. I just hit a wall of players defending and I dont see much movement.

I'm only on semi-pro and I'm finding it hard lol, but I am playing with Stoke. I've lost a couple but seem to draw quite a bit.

Oh and yes, it's worth it for £25... I payed £40 and I still think it's worth it. Fantastic game.
 
Ah, one uses normal teams and the other uses VPs.

The Pro one is much better. People are passing as they care about a good rating and getting accomplishments done to raise their stats.

Is this the mode i've seen where you play BAP as your created player alongside what looks to be a team of other created players?

IF so I had a go earlier and thought it was a pretty good idea, quite a bit of fun and I like seeing those accomplishments pop up :p

One thing i'd say though is that I couldn't figure out how to get the view to standard Tele rather than the "behind your player" BAP view.....

Yep.


Go to camera options and change BAP Online to Tele.
 
Last year I used to use the Tele camera for the Be a Pro mode, but Im sure there was an option to keep your player on screen rather than the camera move and leave you off screen. Can see the option this year, have they removed it this year or have I dreamt the whole thing?
