I rarely complete games, even the games i play to death

my friend on the other hand, rarely plays games to death, just plays them to complete them

very different approaches to gaming
 
I cant remember the first, it was probably Super Mario Kart.

But I do remember the feeling of achievement when I finally finished Super Metroid
 
I'm really bad for completing games, I just lose interest or another game comes out and takes my fancy.

I think it's Half Life anyway.
 
Probably either Combat or Phoenix on Atari 2600. So long ago now and even then Combat would have been vs my cousin and Phoenix just loops. :)

My first played games were well before these Megadrive/Snes games the younger members are mentioning. Unfortunately it was that far back i can't recall which one I completed first!!!

I am sure it was mario bros, duck hunt, way of exploding fist, or some speccy or atari 2600 game (maybe one of the dizzy's?). Might have even been SF1 on my speccy.

Edit: Actually if we are talking completed games I am sure I completed some Arcade machines (at great cost!!) games before I got a computer! Anyway thinking this far back makes my head hurt.

Can't remember on the Commodore or Spectrum, but on the Amiga, Jordan Mechner's masterpiece before it got all 3d-ey and rubbish sticks in my mind:
