Daffy Duck : The Marvin Missions

Fantastic game, i wasted so many hours on it, hardest game i ever played on my Snes, then it was Super Mario World after that

Only thing I can think of is reaching Elite in Elite on the Speccy.

I was going to post that one myself, but I couldn't remember if I gained the 'Elite' ranking before or after completing Manic Miner.

Commander Jameson out.

 That's some serious gaming time put in right there... then again, I guess if I had stuck to one format then i would have got a lot further than 'Dangerous'. I played it on Acorn Electron, then on C64 (loved the docking music) then got Elite Plus for the Amiga :D

wait you cant just post a comment like that and walk on dude....

did you do the missions? what happened? i can take the spoilers (kinda stopped when i got to dangerous)

The tribbles were a laugh though. :D

First game I ever completed was Age Of Empires II.

I think I may have completed Rollcage before that though, I'm not sure - I finished all the three leaguey things that were unlocked at the start and then a cutscene came up with some guy challenging you, but then it crashed to desktop. Every time. It really confused me as to whether that was me completing the game or not.

Those two were the only games I had on my old PC, as I wasn't that into gaming then. Hurrah for 500 MHz processors, 64 MB of RAM and 4 MB of graphics. It's quite shocking that that computer is still used quite regularly.

Highway Encounter on the Spectrum.

When i reached the end of the Highway i thought great which way now BUT it was the end of the game.

Not sure if it was considered a long game or not but i wanted more of the same.

Getting to Elite was easier or harder depending on the version you played. I had the C64 version and was never able to trigger the mission to get past dangerous. I think the earlier versions of the game didn't have the missions, it was based purely on number of kills.

Wasn't it always based on the number of kills?

I think it was Rebel Assault on my first PC, although im sure i completed loads of C64 games but i cant remember the names :(
