***The Official First Game you ever completed thread ***

First game which was possible to "complete", i.e. with some kind of ending was Adventure on the Atari 2600

Although, saying that..

Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge on the Spectrum :)
Ivan "Ironman" Stewarts - Super Off Road Racer also on the spectrum.. however if memory serves me right, you went back to the first track?

I play a lot of sports games and as such.. there are no definitive ending
s.

Oh man! My mate actually got the Lotus 'license' sent to him from the devolpers for finishing the championship in first place. I finished second. :(

Sabre Wulf on the Speccy

Nice.

For me it was either The Milk Race, or War in Middle Earth for the Amstrad CPC. Both endings were mildly disappointing to say the least! :D

I'm really not sure what the first PC game was though... It might have been Tie Fighter.

This has been a good thread to read through, there's a lot of games here I remember playing when I were a lad such as Mercenary, Last Ninja, Driller and recalling that I never got close to finishing any of them. Kudos to those that had the skillz and perseverance.

Super Mario Brothers would be the first game I ever actually finished and that was because it came with my Nintendo.
Before that, I had an atari 2600 but was too young to advance very far in most games.

Not sure.
Possibly Doors of Doom on the Amstrad CPC 6128, or maybe Target Renegade, Operation Wolf...

First game I completed on the PC was Doom2.

Christ - I can't remember that far back! It would have been either Golden Axe or Super Cars on the Speccy + 3. I was addicted to them both and I don't think I could have been separated from them until they were finished. :)
