How did your GPS not work on AOKP? Mine seems fine. Can be a little slow at times, but it works.
It spent ages connecting when I was hoping to use it for a jog. I later saw my effort was never recorded :-(.

A quick Google search showed others having a similar issue (might be for older builds only). I just couldn't be bothered with the effort of digging further, so just did a quick boot back to stock.

Maybe I'll give it another go again (I did like its features) when it's based off 4.0.4.

Edit: AOKP are fast! http://rootzwiki.com/topic/21662-build-29-release-notes-and-changelog-404-merged/

But I reckon I'll wait for build 30 when it's a bit more stable before trying it out again

Health Warning - do at own risk. :)

Just got round to doing this. Had a few problems getting the google drivers to see my phone but was easy after that.

Many thanks for the guide simulatorman ;)

Can someone please tell me how to send and receive contacts, probably obvious but!!
I have received a contact via message and it has a grey "Download" button in the message but when I download nothing happens.
Also I cannot find how to message someone a contact.

cheers

not sure other forms are accepted, but you can go to a contact, go to options and click 'share' and gmail them to someone

I think battery life improved on 4.0.4
Will be able to confirm tomorrow after whole day at work.
13h on, battery at 32%.
Screen on for 1,5hour. Runkeeper app that uses GPS to track cycling used for 2 hours.
Played some temple run.
Some emails during the day.
Doesn't change the fact that it goes for service

HTC One X at £440 is quite tempting considering that the second hand price of the GNex has recently risen to £300.

I'm gonna wait and see if a few of my concerns are eliminated by this update first. Slow multitasking, poor video stabilisation, low volume, slow camera app+autofocus.

The first and last are particularly annoying. I've heard the One X has some video recording issues as well.
