Thanks for that. What's the battery life like after a couple of weeks? It's not too critical for me as I often turn data off and charge everyday in the car, but I'm still curious. My only experience so far is with my HTC Desire, so I'm not sure how it would compare with that.

The biggest plus for me is the stock ICS look and the OTA updates. I've done all the faffing about with ROMs and stuff and would rather not have to do it again. However, I don't know how the process differs these days as it was at least 18 months ago when I did all that with my HTC Desire.

I prefer stock android as well, when I had my Desire I was using a stock android ROM so having it without faffing around with flashing roms and stuff is perfect. I might root in the future for some apps like adblock and backup, but I'll probably still stick with the stock ROM.

The battery life is excellent, I'm using the stock ROM as well, not rooted or anything.

I took a screenshot from my 1st charge I did on the phone:

That was with lots of usage, as I was playing around a lot when I first got it.

This morning, it was 1 day, 23 hours and still had 49% left.

You can click on the screen bar where it says 64% on the image above to see screen on time.

Didn't know you could do that, I will check next time.

The battery life is very good though, you could easily get a full day with heavy use and if you charge during the day in your car, or wherever, you'll have nothing to worry about!

Sent my beloved Galaxy Nexus off for repair today. Will be back with me on Wednesday. Until then I have the horrors of my girlfriends old phone.....a Nokia Xpressmusic!

Probably about right, I just checked what its at right now - 3 hours and 57 minutes. I'm not really a heavy user, but like yourself I will hammer it at times.

Thats extremely good, I don't get much better screen on time with an extended 2000mAh battery.

Do you spend most of your time on Wi-Fi?

Few times recently I missed calls and texts due to the phone appearing to be connected when it was not. The phone received call catcher texts when it was back working.

Does Google or Samsung have a solution for this issue yet?
