***** The Official Galaxy Nexus Thread *****

Seems to be quite a common issue looking online. Do a search for Android 4.2.1 Bluetooth bug and there's a lot of results that come back with people experiencing stuttering when streaming audio over BT.

4.2.2 apparently fixed the BT issues but it was still doing the same thing as 4.2.1.

Does anyone else find the Google Search app really slow? I mean, there is a relatively long wait before you can type stuff because it loads all the stupid Google Now card things first. Surely they should load after?

Not sure how many of you still use a GNex, but i havent found any need to update my phone yet.

4.3 factory image is up Clicky

Just waiting for a link to the 4.3 OTA when someone gets it, shouldnt be long.

Still rocking mine (white version) and liking it. Think it still looks better than a lot of the newer phones. If the Moto X is good, I'll go with that, otherwise will prob wait till Nexus 5

Why, what don't you like about it?

It's not perfect, but hate? What's so bad about it?

It's sluggish in pretty much every area, I have hardly any apps installed and about 4 widgets across my screens open, yet when I press the home icon to go back to the home screen when I'm in the browser I get a blank desktop then a few seconds later my icons appear.

Sometimes when I open the app drawer I get a black screen with a spinning white logo for about 45 seconds to a minute.

The fact I cannot change browsers from the stock browser without text issues.

I've just had enough with Android.

Done a factory reset? Helped quite a bit for me. The text issue on this forum is annoying I admit.

No I've not done this.

I did try clearing off all my widgets from the home screens, but it didn't really help much.

I would wait for 4.3 then do a factory data reset. My GN got worse after the 4.2 update, but factory reset improved things significantly. The bug mentioned in the post above might have something to do with it.

The 4.3 OTA is here, it’s 139.3 MB:

Clearing data from Google Services Framework appears to have worked for my phone.

First thing I noticed was the standard Phone app shortcut seemed to be broken in the tray at the bottom - put it back in from the app drawer and all fine again. Interface seems a little stuttery, using Nova launcher so not sure if that's the problem.
