Don't forget $ to £ we need to add 20% for tax which would put the starting XL around £750.
I think £750 would be the most I would pay.....even then I would think about it

£850 would make it £50 more expensive than the iphone 8 plus
iphone 8 plus has the a11 bionic which destroys the snapdragon 835, wireless charging and dual cameras. The pixel xl2 (going on leaks) will have a higher res oled screen.
Spec for spec, the pixel SHOULD be much cheaper
On the flip side the Pixel XL will have an OLED screen which will destroy the LCD on the iPhone and XL will at least include a fast charger in the box.
Although both fail on the headphone jack front.
If the pixel 2 64GB comes in at £480 then that wouldn't be too bad (hopefully will at least have water proofing and wireless charging too) but if it comes in at £580+ then I'll pass.

My guess is the £599 the Pixel came in at last year, I would like to be surprised though.
That photo makes it look very cheap and plasticky.......certainly doesn't look like a £700+ phone, hell it might even be £800+
also, the speaker alignment is driving me crazy
the pixel xl 1 is currently £720, how will the new one not be £800+
@TheOracle You could buy an iPhone anyway just to take advantage of the two week no quibble returns policy and see how you get on.
