This guy is coming from a Nexus 6. Of course his reaction will be positive.
The screen will be fine for many people but it's a shame it's not iPhone X level great. The quality and calibration on the X is superb.
The 2 XL still has a better display than a similarly priced iPhone. The X is £1K, and even they're having issues.
Yeah. I've heard there's a big patch of screen missing at the top![]()
I don't own one - I'm not mental enough to pay for something that has a chunk of the display missingHa just kidding mate, glad you like it.

Haha, fair enough mate, me as well ! I've got a mate who's gone and bought the 256Gb version and the £100 Apple case. He's smitten, but so he should be for a £1,250 outlay!
Jesus! Makes the 2 XL seem like good value!

I've just bought myself and my wife a Pixel 2 (a black and a white) for £1,258.00. So I got 2 phones for the same price![]()
On the 'plus' side he got some free Beats headphones haha.
I still quite fancy a Pixel 2 of some description, I'm just waiting for the cost to come down, and to let others decide whether its a good prospect long term.... My contract for my S7 Edge runs out Q2 next year so I'm good to go sometime in 2018 for that - will be good to see how the Razer phone, HTC U11+ pan out too.
I'm really interested in the U11+, but it doesn't seem to be coming to carriers direct in the UK. I think it may be sim free only.
Just got one picked up from HK £545 based on exchange rate
How easy is it to transfer all data from ios over to android? Pics, texts etc, do google do a special software?
Cancelled my razer phone order and just ordered a pixel 2.

Judging by the fact that HTC have announced a 25% loss of revenue year on year, and the fact that they have no store space within phone shops in the UK, no reps visiting stores, and very little advertising, I'd be weary of spending such a chunk on a phone that may not have any support down the line if HTC hands in the towel.
The fact that Google have bought the important parts of HTC, and the fact that as was just said here, that no UK carriers appear to be taking it, should also ring alarm bells!
That being said, it does look beautiful!

I've been so tempted by moment (although i just cant bring myself to spend £100 per lens). Debating if i just take the pixel 2 with me to japan and leave the sony rx100 (mk1) at home really cba to take my DSLR but the gf will likely take hers anyway.Great but pricey lens kit for the Pixels.
What do you think of it so far?
