I thought the point of the Pixel was that they wanted to start caring. It was the Nexus line they never seemed to care about.

I converted an HTC M8 to Google Playe Edition. It ran nicely but it had worse battery life and camera so there were definitely some downsides. Stock doesn’t necessarily work so well on a device it wasn’t originally designed for. Luckily at the time the Nexus wasn’t exactly a great phone anyway, very fast, but crap battery life and camera. One thing though, I’ve got a 2XL and its great in most respects but I do feel like it doesn’t come across as flagship grade hardware, mostly just due to the screen sadly. This time around it’s looking like the design of the thing that lets it down. Possibly also the screen but we’ll have to wait and see there. Hopefully it will be cheaper. If I was buying this time, I would go for the standard Pixel 3.

The low resolution and PPI on the 3 is putting me off. Even the PPI on the 3XL and Note 9 isn't as high as the 2XL. I actually like the 2XL screen, when the font size is set to tiny you can fit so much on and everything looks very smooth.
Green Button not as nice as the orange on the Pixel 2 xl.
That notch, just wtf so stupid. Stop following apple for gods sake.
