I'm going to guest that it'll be October. A lot of the yearly big hitters will be released in November, and as great as GTA is, most people have already played it and they might not want it to be released alongside the Call of Duty annual update.

I've not read the ins and outs of this (and still only 36% complete in single player). I would be grateful if someone can confirm whether

1 – I can transfer single player data across platform. I currently have a X-box but want a PS4
2 – Whether I can transfer my online game across as well

Can I bring the single player to the XB1 if I get that ?

I am more concerned about the multiplayer than single player campaigne.

I don't think there will be any way to transport single player, I haven't read anything noting so and I think it would be a pain for them to do.

Obviously I could be wrong.

Wouldn't think you could transfer your online Xbox player to PS4

You can, the online profile can be brought across from either platform.

ooh now that is quite a big jump, the incar detail on the shot towards the end was clearly noticeable. More traffic, more foliage , better lighting, there was more going on when he walked by with the dog, clearly lot more polish in this re-release then most I've seen..

If you have a PlayStation 4, you can move your online profile from either xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 to it.

You won't be able to move your single player progress .
