I personally don't know much about WebOS but it looks superb and I'm looking forward to using it.

If you don't like it, HP engineers say Android isn't far away. ;)

(I know there is a Laptop/PDA/tablet section, but Mobiles is better for it :p)

What a bargain.

Nice. What do you think to it? Be honest!

How is the web browser mainly, I suspect that is what most folk want to use it for.

The Touchstone charging system looks great but it isn't cheap!

When is yours coming?

I've got a 32GB ordered from CPW (I assume it has gone through fine) and I'm picking up a 16GB one tomorrow from PCW!

Got mine here. Having an argument with myself to open it, I already have an ipad so dont know if its a good idea to break the seal

Pfft, get it opened.

This can be had for £99! Thats a bargain!

As much as I don't need/want a touchpad I am tempted!

No, £89!

It's worth a punt for EVERYONE at this price if you can get one.

The thing is though, HP are going to continue developing for it, so it won't be a dead platform for quite a while yet.

When Android gets running on it, well... the sky is the limit.

Loads of my family members are asking me for these now, going to be a busy few days trying to source them :o

Should get 3~ tomorrow (one posted), if not 2.

And hey, why did you move my thread? This forum is crap, mobiles is where it's at.

Move it back at once.

It ain't a phone :p

It doesn't matter. Mobile Phones is the best forum for stuff like this. People won't see it in here and it won't turn into the huge thread (due to modding potential) it would if it was in Mobiles, therefore it will have less posts = less traffic to the site as less search indexes.

Just trust me. ;)

Or just change the Mobile section to Mobile Phones & Tablets, tablets have more in common with phones than laptops.

Thanks Andy! :)

The reason I say it's more like a Mobile is that it really is, the iPad runs iOS - the phone software (though keep that in the Apple section I guess), and Honeycomb Android is still Android, just slightly different, etc.

Got a Touchstone station for mine from PCW for £29, had a discount voucher I got with my actual tablet from there.

What a great bit of kit (was £74.99 before too)! :D

Looks superb and works very well.

its a nightmare looks like people have been reserving multiple items and extending them with argos though :(

My Argos reservation lasts until tomorrow so I'm going to pick it up at lunchtime.

3 so far, still need 2 more (and have 2 on on order - 'pending'). :o

Robbo, how many TouchPads will you have in total? Sure I remember you saying they were for family so that's fair enough :p

I've got 3 (when I pick the 3rd up from Argos shortly, anyway) at the moment and I need 2 more. All are for family (bloody vultures). :(

I'm quite happy with my single 32GB :p

Don't care. :p and yes it's a nice toy. :D

Other bits and bobs on the way.

At least it saved you some stress!
