To be fair mate you totally aren't...was out with a mate and some of the guys he knew had HTC One's...the guys phone was bashed all around the sides, some hefty dents! So make's me still feel a bit paranoid about it...especially when you take away the case as the grip isn't quite as good :p

Branded handsets are only getting the 4.3 OTA now? The unbranded one was two weeks ago :eek:. I would've thought it would be released at the same time like the 4.2.2 update.
 
My WiFi is really slow. I often have to turn it off to browse or watch video on my phone.

Any ideas? I've seen the signal drop to one bar then five again?

Got a good router N66U by Asus with infinity 2
 
Anyone getting no sim card installed problems. I get this every couple of days and though sometimes it fixes itself I frequently have to restart the phone to get it to work properly.

I'm on TMobile with 4.2.2
 
Hi guys, new to HTC One ownership, only had it a few days and already thinking of sending it back!

I've done all the OTA updates including the one from yesterday and my main issue is with the wifi. It seems to keep dropping randomly and the best way to solve it seems to be to switch the wifi on and off again! Anyone else experienced this issue? It's very frustrating indeed.

Also I seem to notice when I have the screen set to auto-brightness it's a fair bit darker than my old One X in most situations :confused: it's hard to get it just right and wish there was a brightness slider like on Samsung phones!

All these niggles are really putting me off an otherwise really nice bit of kit, however having had HTC phones since the Magic every single one of them has had some sort of problem whether its hardware or software argh! May just have to switch to something else if there is no wifi and brightness fix.

Help me out fellas, tell me there is a way to sort this thing out!

there is a display brightness slider. its under settings, display, brightness.

sorry don't really use wifi much.
 
I got my one yesterday, what a quality bit of kit.

I have a question about Zoe's. If you take a Zoe and then save a frame of that Zoe are you getting a picture at the same quality of a normal one shot picture?
 
Does anyone else get spam come through as notifications? I'm getting loads recently little tiny stars that you open (drag down) and revels a banner of an advert :mad:

Also what have they done to the smilies after the update? :confused:
