Attempted by simply driving within 20 miles of your house, most likely
They are useless.
Went in store and had a play with the dummy phones for size; both X and S versus my Nexus S.
S was pretty much the same width as my GNS, but a bit taller. Felt good in my hand, but didn't really feel like a big size jump.
The X was bigger, but I didn't feel uncomfortable with it. I think I would struggle with icons in the top left corner, but easily avoided by just using the space for widgets etc. instead of shortcuts
Both phones were noticeably thinner than my GNS... didn't try "the pocket test" but I think both would fit pretty well. Leaning towards the X at this point...
The only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger is potential LTE rollout in Q4... having to get another phone to take advantage of this would be annoying!!

LTE shouldn't be a deciding factor in next handset. Unless you plan to do a 24 month term.
When LTE rolls out, I predict a small up take, as most can't justify paying the extra premium for the service.

I got told mine was to arrive today from t-mobile. Just been on the phone with them and they said they will retry the order and it could be another 8 days.
Go and pick it up in store. just tell them you have a deal with the retentions department agreed and you want to pick the phone up.
I called the retentions department first and they said that would be ok.
Noob Android question but should I be running an app to close unwanted programs I have opened/open?
I can see bottom right button shows recently opened app's but is that closing the app flicking it up or just clearing the recently opened list?

Only kill apps if they are still using a lot of resources in the background and are killing battery life or/and they aren't responding.
And when you flick the app/screen up, you are killing that task.

What was the premium on 3G services when it first launched?
I usually keep handsets 12-18 months... will probably be one of the early adopters of LTE, tbh

I see I've been lied too again. I left Orange a while back because they lied week after week and never recieved my desire for 2 months. I joined t-mobile and now I'm at the upgrade period, I was told they would have stock back in tuesday. I phone 2day and have been told theres a huge back order and they have stock coming in every day and non for me

I think there's a few lies floating about - that or very badly informed staff. If I didn't get their old 'friends and family' discount I'd jump ship.
Might try as Robertnpmk suggested - but presumably you don't get the 7 day cooling off period that way?
