Am i the only one a bit annoyed that this thread is full of (omg i got a great deal on One X/Whats the best deal?)

Can we have a seperate thread About discussing deals with One X and leave this thread about the actual device?

Happens in all threads I'm afraid. People seem unable to work out whether the deal they've been offered is good or not. :p

Mine has been returned at work today after a couple of weeks playing with it, was impressed on the whole apart from the small niggles I've already mentioned. I really think this could be the phone that could tempt a lot of iPhone users to take a look at Android.

Is there that much of a difference from the Galaxy Nexus then?
I know it's daft, but I'm toying with the idea of a Galaxy Nexus as an interim phone.....

The Galaxy Nexus is a fantastic phone, even if it is running slightly aged hardware. The One X has a much better screen and camera, but stock ICS on the GNex is brilliant. It's very well designed and very quick.

Overall I'd say the Nexus is the better phone, but it's close.

I just found a dead pixel on the screen so I have to post it back to phones4u and wait for a replacement :| :|

How can I possibly go back to using my HD2?! haha

Just did the update and seems smoother overall, not as though it was choppy before mind you!
 
Well I had a nexus and I seriously could not go back to it after getting my One X...Absolutely love it. Still waiting for my update though on o2.

Edit: ive also got to admit ive always hated sense on previous generations. but for me sense 4.0 just wipes the floor of stock ICS, so much nicer in my opinion.

Indeed, I have the Nexus as well and it's brilliant but the One X has it beaten on every front aside from software (and possibly battery), and I'm a fan of HTC Sense so it's not an issue. It's actually pretty good.
 
Keep thinking I have yellow blobs on the bottom left and right of my screen? Is there a form of pixel buddy I can use to get a pure white screen for a period of time?

I been the biggest hater of sense in the past but this slimmed down version I love, I always hated the bar at the bottom on previous version it was wasted for me but this new one is great.
 
OK I can see yellow in each corner, can you guys?

Or am I seeing things?
