With the auto update feature on IOS12 do you need to have the phone plugged in?

In the software update area it says it will try to attempt an update tonight, guessing it will providing it has enough charge.

Bah, even after the update, still got the annoying bug where in Whatsapp the 'bubble' predictive text appears below the keyboard on the first few lines of a text. Really annoying that you can't see what it's suggesting, and it's an iOS bug, not a Whatsapp one. Reported it on day one... :(

Not sure if my issue is related to the latest IOS update but have having a mare playing back Netflix videos via the lightning to HDMI adapter.

Get very pixelated playback (not like poor download quality but crazy video artifacting) and also have it where the image will freeze on the TV but the video will carry on playing and the audios is still coming out fine from the TV.

Not yet tried it with other VOD services, but will be giving it a go later today.

Any one else seen something similar? Have seen a few posts regarding audio issues via lightning to USB so may be there is an underlying issue with external connections there

Have carried out a few tests and it looks like it is an issue with the NetFlix app itself. Amazon Prime video stream with zero issues through the lightning adapter and can play from my laptop to the TV using same cable with no issues, so has to be down to the app.

Hopefully they will push an update soon and resolve it
