*** The official iOS 6 thread ***

iOS 6 GM running on my 4S. New App Store is very slick, I really like it. The "Open" button to just open your app instead of "Installed" is a really nice touch, as well as the whole layout.

Still not sure on the top bar (signal, clock) changing colour based on the app.

I have just put this on my iPad and it's updating itself there with no problems so far. Bit annoyed about the youtube app though. I wonder how long it will take for them to get an iPad native version released.

Not a huge fan of viewing youtube content through safari, but hey ho.
 
Thanks a lot for taking them shots simulatorman :) Looks awesome :) any chance you could take a shot in London without the imagery? (Ie Just the streets and roads - no satellite view)
 
won't youtube have an app on itunes?

I'd be surprised if it isn't already available.

Nope, I'm not a dev and running the GM. You may have seen my MD5 paranoia earlier in the thread :p


Edit: Loving Siri's Premier League updates, can even get player stats etc.
