I was downloading an app on 3G yesterday, speed was 200kbs, hardly slow for a 20MB file is it? who really downloads anything over a few 100MB on an iPad anyway?

Unless you're referring to the actual display, I mean compare the first gen iPhone to the 4/4S and yeah the display on the first gen is crap, but have you noticed any actual difference between the iPad 1/2 and iPhone 4/4S they all display comics just as good, with the exception that on the iPhone, you have to zoom in to read it, making it worse lol

Whilst I agree it might not be a huge jump from an ipad 2 to the 'new' ipad, for those of us who havn't jumped on the tablet band-wagon, the new ipad is currently the best device on the market by the looks of it! No brainer really....

Plus I like the fact these apple tablets seem to hold their value REALLY well, come a years time I should be able to sell it for a nice sum!

By the looks of what, this thread? Hardly a fair comparison of what's out there! Also even if not on the tablet bandwagon yet the reduction in price of the ipad 2 may make it a better choice for all as the ipad 3 doesnt seem to offer any real improvement (other than screen res - which is arguably useless anyway as no content other than photos will make use of this and on such a small screen is total overkill anyway). I'm waiting to see what the updated Transformer Prime is like before buying either one.
