I really don't know why some people put themselves through queuing up on launch day, especially in this day and age.

I will never buy an iPhone/iPad on launch day at a retail store ever again after last time- actually it wasn't even on launch day, it was just the opening day of the Covent Garden store. It was ridiculous! And not to mention the entrance parade by the staff!

I can't find this confirmed anywhere else though (or even mentioned).

And I know they sell iPads instore, but I thought they didn't sell electronics/games after something like 10pm? I remember trying to by a PS3 game in at around 1 am once, they said the stock room was locked after 10... :S

The carrier for my iPad is listed as "SYNCREON PARCEL DELIVERY"! This is on the Apple tracking page. How is everyone else finding out that UPS/TNT etc are delivering their iPads? I can't see anything on my Apple account that says anything like this.

Noticed on Macrumors Wallmart is allowing people to purchase at midnight at some stores.

Yeah it says on their website that it's available from 00:01 16th March at over 250 stores.

They delivered one of four of my iPhones 4S's. They were earlier than the UPS delivery.

Found my details. It says delayed and "expected delivery" is 19/03/12 at the top but "delivery date" lower down says 16/03/12. I can also see this: "05 - Misroute / System Generated 05 - Misroute POD".

So awaiting collection, then collected, then delayed.
