UKMAIL are delivering from 8-6pm. Someone posted it might be a pre-noon deliver but it's not. Called in to find out and the agent said so. Was nice enough to offer to find out where the driver was but was then told flat out that they wouldn't tell him. :)

It's not my fault the driver wanted to chat about iPad! I thought he was going to wait for me to open it!
 
Nice TNT man delivered mine at 8:30 this morning. I was second delivery this morning for him, he has a load more to do today.
 
Quick post to say the new iPad fits perfectly in an iPad 2 DODOCase if anyone has one.

Also, the UKMail delivery I got as around 08:45, postcode IP30.

And yes, screen is fab and images on every website I visit look **** :p
 
Interesting ... restored my 2 backup onto the 3. I've got them side by side and the 2 opens everything a fraction quicker than the 3! Both are 16GB 3G's

Just done my first email on the 3 and got some horrendous lag before my cursor was available

On the plus side, it made a pretty good fist of dictating.
 
it would be quicker on the 2 because they've got the same processor but the ipad 3 has got quad core graphics which are consumed mainly by the retina display. On the plus side, ipad 2 has a shabby screen compared to the ipad 3 so i'd sacrifice a fraction to get a better display/experience.
 
My boss picked one up this morning in West Quay — walked passed the massive queue outside the Apple Store, straight into John Lewis and picked one up without queueing!

Screen looks good, haven't really played with it yet.
