its 7 foot 6 inches,
has over 150 feet of LED lights,
and approx 200 stupid baubley things that i spent the last 3 hours tieing strings onto.


and yes i shall be smashing much pasty tonight because i agreed to putting a tree up

But you clearly don't know the meaning of Christmas to put up a tree 39 days before Christmas. Just admit it you wanted to the the first in your street to have it up in the front window showing off

Shops have them up to entice people to spend money on Christmas goods. We have a lot of Christmas food bought but its all hidden away in the cupboard.

Its November, why?

i was bullied into it by the wife and kids, had a few beers and a few promises made by the wife, so it seemed a good idea at the time.


and why waste a perfectly good tree only having it up for a fortnight?

I bought a new tree at the weekend. Been very tempted to put it up since, but not sure if CBA. It was meant to cost £114, but the garden centre where it came from had a voucher offer of 50% off any single Christmas decoration/item. I'm sick of having a real tree in my lounge at Christmas, so managed to persuade the wife we needed a decent immitation tree and to plant the real one we have in the garden.

Need some good decorations now though.

DO IT, get it up asap i'm feeling a bit "special" here being the only one on ocuk
