Can they get a final GM duplicated in vast enough quantities packaged and distributed around the world to meet the (what I assume is very high) demand in 14 days?

I am guessing they have all of the packaging ready to have the discs inserted so it wont be that big a job, then it is onto the lorries and to the stores! Woohooo!

I bought a Mac mini today from the Apple Store in Manchester (Trafford Centre). So, if Leopard is out on the 27th, I qualify for the free upgrade? Do I ring them or will I just get it sent to me?

I've got a Core Duo 2.0GHz, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD MacBook and Tiger runs well for all my needs, what more can Leopard offer me?
£58 for me is still bit steep for what seems like a "slight" upgrade...
Customers who purchase a qualifying new Macintosh computer on or after October 1st, 2007, that does have not Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard included can upgrade to Leopard at a cost of £5.95 (UK) / €8.95 (Ireland).
