It's like an oil change on the car for me. Even though I know I only patched it or changed the oil a while ago it some how feels like a nicer car to drive. All placebo
Probably Apple's Marketing ploy... if an average user already have a DVD burner, why whould they want to get the next model up from the base MacBook / Mac Mini - combo drive?
rant:
If Apple is so innovative and always seem to be "ahead of times" like their total removal of 3.5" floppies back then, why the heck are they still so slow with their optics on base models!?
/rant.
My current Leopard is running fine but updates are always appreciated - might even give that remote drive a spin but only for try - just as long as the new updates don't bring up new problems
Edit: Wonders when Apple is gonna sort out the flash hogging CPU on Safari.... or is it Adobe's job?
Cool... they better crack on then, rather annoying when I visit YouTube / Zeropunctuation and have to turn up my speakers volume because the fans decided to rev up to semi-vacuum mode.
