I always do. It’s force of habit that when a new OS is released, I always write a bootable USB stick and chuck it on the shelf. I don’t use it, I just run the installer. I suppose it’s so I’ve got it, just in case I need it.

I have only ever updated straight from the app store since Yosemite.

Installed here, no issues yet. Time machine doing its big backup and I guess it will be nice leaving it overnight to optimise fully.

Dark mode is lovely and the dynamic desert wallpaper is a nice touch.

Gone Dark as that is more my thing and now playing.

I like dark mode, but think the novelty might soon wear off. All the forum links, names and dates are showing up in Times New Roman now for me. Except my own name. Odd.

Same here. Safari 12 on High Sierra was fine.

Apart from dark mode Safari 12 looks the same to me as it was in High Sierra.

Getting Times New Roman font substitution issues...

Firefox is fine on Mojave, user agent change in Safari doesn't fix it. Looks to be a Mojave issue.

Took me about 25mins to download and I reckon about 30-40mins to install, but that's a guess.

I started downloading at 6pm yesterday evening and I do remember being up and running by 8pm or earlier.

No, I'm on an iMac late 2013, does my image I posted look how it should then, when it comes to fonts my eyes play tricks on me!

That's strange then, guess its just a bug.

On the subject of fonts, the mac app store looks really basic with its large style font. Don't like it personally.
