The ars technica review lists a whole bucketload of stuff in Tahoe that doesn't work on Intel Macs.So it could be smaller, leaner, faster and perhaps unlock some new features that weren't possible whilst still supporting Intel
So is it wise to wait for .1 .2... or those that have it installed think its good out the gates?
if I install it will be on a MacBook Pro (2021 M1pro)
Does anyone know how to make that hideous clock font size smaller on the lock screen?
Easy to do on iOS but can't seem to find anything for the Mac.
It entirely depends on your use case.
I've had issues with my Wacom drawing tablet, and I believe there is a major issue with Autodesk software (AutoCAD etc).
But Microsoft 365 apps and the Adobe Suite are all working fine for me.
I've run into a few odd niggly issues like making an SMB connection via a folder shortcut not working, but there's an easy workaround.
I would say if you're just using the standard suite of Apple apps, you should be fine. If you rely on specific software, or hardware with additional drivers, definitely search the web to make sure users aren't reporting issues before you upgrade.
Oh that wasn't just me thenThe only bug I've had was with my external webcam defaulting to 5fps, which was fixed with a Chromium update.
