I'm just hoping the supply will be high and we don't get any scalping like we did with Graphics cards. I got the switch for my kids and then got one for myself to play with them and I am so surprised as a pc gamer how much I use the switch. I bought a steam deck but I sent it back because I never used it.

Wasn't the GPU scalping during covid? I honestly don't see it happening this time. Nintendo know how well the original Swotch sold and likely will have been massing producing this thing for a long while.

Some rumours saying switch 2 releasing as early as 15th May. Doubt it though since they were gonna have those tests sites all the way to June.

I think there were only one or two 'Switch 2 Experience' dates beyond the first week or two of May, so 15th might not be entirely unfeasible.

You never know. There are several strong rumours going around now about an earlier release date than first envisaged. We might get an official answer via the Nintendo Direct on 2 April.

I'm hoping for a remake of Zelda A Link to the Past in the Echoes of Wisdom engine, 1080P @60. Throw in new versions of 1080 Snowboarding, Wave Race and Starfox and my credit card will be in tears

Yo 1080 snowboarding was amazing. Started off with kensuke? and unlocked the silver and golden boarder.

There was also a world record that I got on one of the levels back in the days for Nintendo official magazine. I only recorded the time and not the play through as it wasn't easy. They never accepted it. :/

But anyways they really need to bring some of those games!

Ah man, I remember an Argos near college had an N64 display unit with 1080 Snowboarding running for a couple of months or so, was a constant queue of people waiting for a turn and an ongoing battle get the highest score on the half pipe and stadium jump, good times!

Have you played Tropical Freeze. I go back to that game time and again because its so good. Easily one of the best 2D platformers ever. Potentially the best ever.

I never really got into DK. I think because of how hard I found it (played SNES) yet it still holds fond memories for me because of the music etc.
Really need to go play through it/them again.

I find the modern one hard but then I am utterly terrible at platforming games
