I see stock 5950x above 12900k the stock 12900k are down the list first one placed at 35th

Doesn't stock mean out of the box ?

Single core intel wins
love reading bencher's interactions with the rest of the forum.

i guess when people don't follow a sport like football or rugby, they pledge their allegiances to processor manufacturers.

he actually puts me off going with intel hahaha

I understand completely. Thats what happened to me with amd as well. Internet is full of... "supporters"

How did I do?

4.75ghz all core manual OC with 1.306v (Under load)

Slightly better than me, i got 16,124.

Wait what? Every reviewer on planet earth has the 12900k winning in cbr23 at stock.
Seems to be 4th here in MT.

Tighter timings, faster core clock 4.8ghz all core does not = higher CB score, weird ASF. Also 7c cooler than my previous run.

First one was better, the key is temperature. late tonight when its cold outside open a windows, put the pc as close as you can to that window, crank the fans 100% and let it rip...

No i didn't do that, honest....

Nice MT, though I'm disappointed that it can't beat the ST score of a 12900k, a CPU that's been out for almost a year and is quite a bit cheaper.

13900K will further extend Intel's lead in ST, though not sure that it'll win in MT, we'll see!

Its a shame Intel's 12900K couldn't beat AMD's 18 month old CPU in MT.

ST is far more important for the majority of the target audience of these mainstream CPU's. Not running at 94C with great cooling is also a highly desirable goal. The 12900k is cheaper than the 5950X and 7950X remember...

For professional users that require workstation class CPU with higher core counts, support for ECC memory etc, Threadripper/EPYC are far more suitable and are better than any workstation CPU and Intel can field.
