I have literally only just started collecting last night, so that means I need them all except the 3 that I got from series 8. Would you be willing to swap

Alien Villianess for Bride?

And would you be willing to sell me the other two and post them at the same time? We might need to do that through the members market though.

I'm off to B&M bargains tonight to pick up a load of series 3's if you would rather swap for any duplicates of those I get.
 
Let me know if you get any duplicates of Series 3 and we can go from there. I'm not worried about full sets, so will swap series 7s for 8s or 3s.

I only collect Star wars and Superheroes figures as there are too many Minifigures Series now

You get a controller with each and they each have a red and blue wheel + 4 frequencies so you can operate 8 different trains from 1 controller. He got the cargo train last year and the red one this year I have to say I'm much more impressed by the weight and design of the cargo train, we also bought 2 boxes of extra track to make things slightly more "interesting".


My son just finished building the red train last night before bed and we gave it a spin on the tracks.

I have never felt such conflicting emotions of pride and jealousy as he can now self build without my help so I'm proud of him but so jealous as I now have to sit and hand him the pieces instead of the other way round.

Thanks for that, my boys birthday is at the end of the month and we are torn between the passenger train or the cargo one, the cargo one seems better in looks but weighs in at £50 more, it worth going for the extra track?

Definitely go for the Cargo one, you get more track to start with and the train etc, is much better. I bought the extra bendy and straight track and it was surprising how big the track layout was once built up! How much room have you got for it? Because it took up waaay much more room than I though tbh. But well worth the purchase.. (I'm a big kid :p)

Display magnets arrived this morning, just need to get a magnet board from Ikea for display now, this is only a small number of the mini figs I have, need more magnets :(

Yes the extra track is worth it depending on space you have of course.

Otherwise it's quite quickly round the track.

don't forget you'll need 9 AAA batteries but they do last quite a while.


I don't know where you are getting them but do shop around if you are using amazon shop around the amazons as well .co.uk .fr .de

I got the passenger train for 72€ in November on FR site.

On the FR site the cargo is 126€ including postage. I notice the passenger train on FR is now upto 126€+ postage so MORE expensive than the cargo train. :confused:

Or on the german site there is the diesel one ref: 3677 which is no longer being made for 111€ (+6 p&p approx) it's 133 quid (163€) on UK site so a huge saving

Hope I've helped and as they say on the BBC other shops are available.

great idea my son is always looking for his i could stick the idea board on his bedroom wall... :D
 
Hi, I received an email asking whether trading minifigures could be allowed on the forums.

I started a discussion amongst the mod team and we have decided that this will not be something that we can allow. I'm afraid it sets an unwanted precedent and if we allow it we will only serve to reproduce it everywhere else.
