Added the 1989 Batmobile to go alongside the Bugatti Chiron over Christmas. Might end up building one set a year if I'm not careful!

Still gutted I missed out on the 89 Batmobile. Happened a few times now where I've decided to get a set and then find out it's just been retired.

They are quite similar in footprint. Especially length.
Batmobile is a bit narrower.

I have a whole shelving unit dedicated to the cars! I have 1 space left! It takes. A chunk of room up I have to say.
Porsche, bugatti, Lambo, batmobile are all. On it.
Kind of hoping for a red ferrari next.
Cutstom sized it to fit them!

If the warehouse is backed up as it has done a lot with covid measures, then yeh it takes awhile.

I’m not defending them BTW, they should give realistic lead times but that’s why it is like it is.

Lego online has indeed always been slow. Really slow, but now it's snails pace. They are permanently backed up and no incentive to improve due to monopoly on the market for a lot of kits.

I have all those 4 as well, although only built two of them so far. Since you custom made it to fit them, mind posting a picture ?

McLaren F1 completed - took my 14 year old about 6/7hours to build.

Scale against my GT3

Very nice looking - impressive. Lacking a little in "working" bits - shame no working DRS or something.

Bigger than I thought it was!

I just don't like it. Just looks too blocky.

From want i been reading the standard packaging is the lego box is inside a standard brown cardboard box where the reduced packaged is just the shipping label struck on the lego box or the lego box is just in a plastic bag

Brave, but not sure why a smaller box would cost more. Maybe hermes are more careful with it :cry:

. Also that parts count on the timber is QUOTE low for ghe price. Should be more like 150 imo compared to the batwing and the 1989 batmobile.
