I do wonder what the percentage difference is for these between those that actually keep/build them vs. those that have been bought to sell on.
Managed to finally pick up one of the discontinued 8043 Excavators at a reasonable price, looking forward to putting that one together, plenty of motorised parts.

Just over a hundred, used but like new, fully boxed and stickers unused/sealed.
Not only a cool set but cost effective way to get so many electrical parts (4 motors, 2 remotes, 2 ir receivers and batt box).

I'd like one but the nearest store is hour and a half drive away, plus parking, it'll cost about £160 at least.

It is a thing of beauty, got mine sat on the table near my Xbox. Niece and Nephew get told of when ever they go near it
Got the Millennium Falcon to build to but just started it when I damaged me back so that sat on the PC desk still, there a keyboard an mouse somewhere under the pieces

Anyone know the best/cheapest place to buy plain bricks (e.g. 2x4, 2x8 blocks)?
Lot of bulk stuff on eBay but all mixed parts. Want to put together some stands for my daughters mini figure collection, almost completed all series (with exception of the first) and hundreds of the buggers loose on her shelves are a nightmare to kep tidy.

Try this method of mounting your minifigures. The baseboards slide perfectly between two rows of studs on a lego baseboard. I then knocked out a stud in each of the top two corners of the board and they hang perfectly on the wall. Will post a pic shortly.

Entirely depends on what you want tbh, I found the Lego X-Wing to be complicated enough for an evening at around £50 but only in stages.
Exactly how complex are you talking?
