I was the same, having used the US layout with International US profile for a few hours now there is a difference but it is not annoying like I thought it would be. Just a matter of getting used to it. Only things that stick out are:
Miss the enter key occasionally due to it being smaller
Have to press alt+shift+4 for the £
Hash and @ keys moved shift+2 or 3
shift+apostrophe then next letter or space for "
apostrophe then next letter or space for '(apostrophe)
Is the Choc Mini just plug in and go or do I need some drivers?
What is one to do?
I just got my choc mini recently and it worked right out of the box on Win 7 64 all media keys working fine.
How are you finding it generally? A favourable reply may well push me to order one.
Well I have just my Filco delivered and first impressions with typing is it does feel better. Something that I am trying to teach my self is not push the keys as hard as I don't need to anymore!
Will take a bit of getting used to but I do like the feel every time I push a key. I now see what people say about rubber domes feeling mushy!
Overall the Filco does seem very well built with a nice weight to the keyboard itself.
Thinking of returning my new Filco keyboard if possible through whatever act it is..
It's a lot nicer to type on then a normal keyboard, so much easier. But a few things really bugging me, there isn't much space between the bottom of the space bar and the end of the keyboard (a matter of mm) compared to my Logitech G11 which has atleast an inch. Therefore my thumb isn't resting anywhere and I keep pressing space by accident. I keep pressing caps lock by accident as well, the G11 has like a gap between A and Caps Lock.. Also missing the numpad quite a bit.
Might get used to these things over time, I don't know. I did write an assignment though yesterday with the keyboard so it has had some use..
Do I think its worth £115 of my money though, not really..
Falling to like it more and more now actually. After I used my G11 I was like ouch my fingers hurt! I looked at the smaller version of the leather wrist rest, with vat and postage it was like £50 though iirc!I never have these problems and the keyboard felt weird to me at first. I do use the Filco wrist rest also which is great, might be an idea for you.

I'll check out the forum, though still regretting buying the larger KB with the numpad really. Shame I can't switch!Yeah, it's expensive, a shame you didn't buy it with the keyboard to save on shipping costs. Maybe look for a second hand one? You could ask on geekhack classfields forum (like the Market here)
Welcome to the club mate
