Responce 1:- I've heard this official game is rubbish!! Just look at those gfx, they've got more jagged edges than a pack of rusty razerblades

Responce 2:- What is he talking about these gfx are next gen, its just because you're tight and can't afford the latest quad core with uber gfx rig. This official games looks awesome on my blah blah

There was a time where you would just start any old thread on a game. If you made an interesting post, people would reply and the thread would grow. It didn't used to matter if there was more than one thread on a game. A sure fire hit now is to stuff "official" in the title to ensure people only post in your thread.

If you are feeling inadequate in some way, start another thread with "new official official"

Official threads are fine as there meant to keep the forums clutter free and so peeps know where to ask questions about said game and not post hundreds of seperate threads just to ask a question thats already prob been mentioned and dealt with in the Official thread ...
shame most members cant be arsed searching or at least posting in one thread about the game they need help with, do we really need 10 new SUPCOM or STALKER threads everyday ? no we certainly dont

Nah Sleepery, the real ones have two *'s either side. The others are fakes and should be deleted.

, Official threads are made to keep all game chat to one particular popular thread, instead of 100's of different posts. It's just caught on yet there are some people who like your self for some reason pick fault.
