**** The Official OnePlus 6 Thread ****

That's the thing, I guess it could happen to any phone. Not sure what other Android alternatives for £500 I could get anyway.
True but some other manufacturers include 2 years of warranty like Google and Samsung.

Some good deals around for the Pixel 2 XL via CPW, see below.

You can get a 2xl from CPW for £479 after cashback with the old cancel the contract Jobby that's what I did!

Otherwise I agree OP6 is a good shout at this price.

Got my OP6 yesterday... still trying to get used to the screen buttons at the bottom. Only real issue atm is when I connect to bluetooth in my car and start a phone call, 50% of the time it goes through the car speakers and 50% of the time it goes through the hand set speaker. My OP3 never had this issue.

It's a bug the OP5T does the same since updating to Oreo.

Well Oneplus after sale support is pretty rubbish. My camera is faulty so I sent my phone back on Monday. They got it Tuesday and I've heard nothing back since then. It just says they're "inspecting" it. I'd have been better just sending it back for a refund and buying a new one.

what people consider rubbish service nowadays

That is rubbish service when I have only had the phone 5 days. If you pay £500+ for a device literally on the first day of it's release and it's faulty then the issue should be sorted out quickly. To have my phone for 3 days and not even give me an update is just poor service. Google just do you a straight swap.

Really pleased with my Oneplus 6 and it isn't really an issue for me, but I feel the lack of wireless charging and terrible sounding speaker is done on purpose so they can deliver an easy upgrade for the 6T.

How is everyone finding the camera? I wanted to recommend to a family who is coming from an iPhone 7 Plus. I could not find many deals on the Pixel 2 XL which I wanted them to get as was working out a lot more. The OP6 plus sim only seems decent. They only snap the kids and days out. I have the Pixel 2 and camera is very good.

I just noticed that when you plug in your OnePlus 6 via USB to a Windows computer, it shows a new drive in Windows Explorer with OnePlus Drivers in it. What exactly are these drivers for? I didn't know you needed drivers to attach an Android device to a PC. I'm running Windows 10 Pro 1803 at the moment.
