Good review @AndyCr15 - gf says you're better than mkbhd:p

Ha ha, thanks very much. I just think I do reviews different to most of the big guys, who try and fit it all in to 10 minutes. Yeah, quite annoying about the FPS actually. I really did wonder if it could be my daily if they worked reliably. Makes me wonder if I should swap it for the OP6... mind you, that has a larger notch if I remember correctly?

Another thing I like is your impartial unlike the big boys who are sell outs who get forced to give good reviews.

Keep it up

I found a cable that charges rapidly, I bought this one

Hemamba USB C cable, USB type C Charging Cable, High Speed Charging and Data Transfer 5 Amp Cable. Ultra Low Resistance OFC Wire for Maximum Speed. Rated at 5 Amps!, Braided fire resistant jacket, Supporting Qualcomm QC 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 4+ QC.(1.8m)

It's long black and rapid.

What review, am I missing this?

Excellent, good work. I might look into a second charger now. No point having two leads when you need to carry the charger.

Finally an upgrade for main phone from an LG G3, was dying a slow death and too lazy to upgrade until now. Picked up Thunder Purple and finish is amazing, was slightly dubious having always gone for black or silver. Great phone for the price IMO.

Does anyone have or know of a nice transparent case for the rear and recommend any screen protectors?

That looks stunning, congrats :)

Make sure you install GCam, almost matches the Pixel 3 in daylight.
On that. I am having problems with my Gcam port. I'd say 50% of the time the photos taken don't save to the phone, have you or anyone else encountered this? The rest of the time it's fine and the stock camera app is fine.

I don't have a 6T but the same thing has been reported on the Pixel 3 so I'm guessing a bug exists in the Pixel camera and it's just been ported over in the GCam mod.

Oh really? I never heard about that. Well in a way that makes me a little happier in that I'm not banging my head against a brick wall trying to figure out what's wrong.

To be frank, the 6t does have very capable camera hardware. It's just a shame the stock app does the phone no justice.
I've found that the best way to utilise the stock camera app is to turn off all the 'AI' and post processing. I took some photos yesterday (admittedly the light was excellent) and they look as good if not better. I would then suggest if you want to touch them up to use Snapseed - I found it to be a great companion for my Pixel.

OnePlus does not recommend third party screen protectors as they claim it can impair fingerprint reader. The one that's already fitted should last a fair while. Re: case, what's wrong with the clear case that comes in the box?

P.S. it's a while since I've seen 'valves' in an electrical device?

Yeah will keep the screen protector on, does fine and has been applied better then I could with third party one anyways. Case that came in the box is pretty dark? Was looking for a more transparent one so just took a punt and had one arrive from rainforst which is lovely. Fully transparent but also more solid so will use that for now.

Ah valves are on a headphone amp sitting on my desk.

Pre-applied screen protector has been pretty crap for me. Has scratched very easily and the top is now peeling off. Waiting for the official tempered glass one to be released in the UK
