**** The Official OnePlus 7/OnePlus 7 Pro Thread ****

I took the pre applied screen protector off last night to put on a tempered glass that i got from amazon. Big mistake waste of 9 quid.

Won't detect a finger print nearly most of the time and it feels like there is a gap between the protector and screen.

I avoid TG screen protectors on curved screens as they never work properly.
I've ordered these LK [3 Pack Screen Protector for OnePlus 7 Pro, Wet Applied [Full Coverage] [Bubble-Free] HD Clear Flexible film with Lifetime Replacement Warranty https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07NSR6315/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_d5w5Cb4Q0FGTZ as I had them on my OP6 and they are great.

good spot - can't see that being accurate however - Zero news of it being released by OP themselves- that seems odd to be on the website with no news whatsoever from the manufacturer themselves.

laughable at the price mind you.....£64 a month for 24 months plus £50 for the phone on the cheapest plan......£1586!!!

My friend works for EE and I can get 30% friends and family discount, yet I generally still can't get competitive prices compared to resellers!

I've never bought a smartphone just for the camera, OP's cameras have always been good enough for me.

Different people have different criteria for phones. I always gone for the best camera as I have kids so want the best photos and dont mind paying the premium for it.

On initial play with it

Very quick, super smooth as expected. Curved screen doesn't bother me as much as I expected....

Enclosed clear case does a good job of covering the phone.

Selfie camera is quick, smooth and nice touch - again - not a selfie person much so can't see it being used that much.

Quick play with the camera - pictures of the dog etc - seems more than fine for me. .......Good enough pictures for me. (straight out the camera - no changes)

Finger print scanner - lightning fast and not missed a beat yet.

If photos are your number one criteria, have you thought about a camera. Then get a mid range phone.

Ah damn....not good..so what does tracking say then?

John Lewis reckon they handed it to collect+ but they're saying tracking still shows as John Lewis still have it. I can't go to the collect point until 8 as my lads in bed and Mrs is out. Hopefully it's just a scanning error. I've had 2 items via collect+ in the past and both have ballsed up.

Its because I use Google Photos and Amazon Prime Photo Apps - This means all my photos are stored and uploaded to the cloud which my wife can access. I have gone down the separate camera route and phone route and it just never works for obvious reasons......
