**** The Official OnePlus 7/OnePlus 7 Pro Thread ****

I fell asleep with my phone on YouTube last night. Woke up to 13% battery but 8hrs and 20mins SOT. a lot of that was minimum auto brightness but as I said earlier, all bells and whistles on.

Sounds very promising, in all likely hood i will set it to 60hz but leave the high res alone. I also have my screens on the darker side, black backgrounds and what not where ever possible. Always a good idea with OLED.

I use dark mode wherever possible. Don't drop down to 60hz mate, the lovely 90hz!

I'm kind of kicking myself though with this phone. Any other phone will just feel slow in comparison.

41 hours since only charge (went I got the phone) - still got 32% battery left. SoT 4hrs 22 minutes. So easy 2 days for me out the phone but i'm not a heavy user. All bells and whistle on as well.

Hmm, am considering swapping to the OnePlus 7 from the 7 Pro.

Smaller, not as heavy, has the stereo speakers (which were my biggest complaint about the 6T). Camera is decent. Prefer a flat screen, notch is annoying (but am used to it on my iPhone XS).

Lose Warp Charge but I don't find Fast Charge slow anyway.

What else do I lose?

90hz
Screen Resolution
Storage speed
Camera

As long as it takes photos the camera doesn't matter much to me.

90Hz is a shame but I will get used to it again.

Storage speed is an issue I haven't encountered issues with even on a Pixel 3a, to be honest.

For me it seems like the Pro is a bit pointless. The main appeal was getting rid of the notch (and the screen does look incredible, no denying) but I find it too big and heavy.

I agree. Ergonomics is key. Personally 5.5 - 6" screen would have been ideal.

I agree ergonomics are key, so a lot of people need a bigger screen. I'd say my phone is used as a phone least of all its features.
Most it's internet, email and sat nav. So the screen being larger is good ergonomics.
If you mainly want it as a phone i agree smaller would be ideal.

I use my phone for all that too and 5.5" pixel does it just fine. Light in the pocket and in the hand. That's why I said 'personally'.
