The official Overlord 2 thread.

Spec in sig. E8400 is at 3.6GHz.

1600x1200 at high, and it runs smooth as can be. Only "slight" choppiness is when there's a lot going on, but it's barely noticable.

I'm very impressed with how it runs on modern hardware, hats off to Codemasters for that (even though they optimized well but let bugs slip through! ;)).

That's odd, it never gets choppy on my PC and I'm running it with just a single 4850 with a Q6700 clocked at 2.7Ghz and 8GB RAM.

Overlord is running with max settings 8AA 16AF at 1920x1200.

hmm, finally got round to playing this at the weekend and so far I'm slightly underwhelmed. Something seems to have gone slightly wrong with the controls so it doesn't feel as instinctive as before. The minions seem to have a bit more of a mind of their own and don't feel as controllable as before which I'm not sure is a good thing.
I welcome the minimap but it's very small and every tiny goal flashes up on the map which feels a bit of an insult to my intelligence.
Not got very far though so will stick with it and hope things pick up a bit but so far about 7/10.

Well after a slow start I've got quite into this over the weekend. I do like how they've really gone more in for the playing as a bad guy thing this time. Clubbing baby seals, killing pandas as they are "just too fluffy" for Gnarl's eyes to cope with, promoting the destruction of ice caps to flood the land etc.

Just rescued the green hive from the sentinels (fairly sure this is an actual nod to the game Sentinel).
