Hey all, Had this monitor before Xmas and have been using it almost every day mostly in 4k games. GTA 5 is a delight !

Had mine about the same.
Dirt Rally is awesome on it.
Mind you, so are DAI, Elite, and jsut about anything else I have tried
If they release something like this with G-sync, I'd have to be all over it.
I would have said Freesync, but AMD have left me rather unimpressed this year.

Ok I have been playing witcher 3 at 4K and I am in heaven ! I still cannot believe how good it looks !
Mind you I only get 30 - 45 FPS at 4k but it looks so stunning who would believe games would ever get so amazing !
I still have my 30 dell to the side and tried that and YUCK !

best monitor ive used in 15 years of PC gaming.
And I've had a fair few, 30" apples / dells, 24" ones, eyefinity set ups and 28" 4k and nothing comes close to this monitor, had it 4 months now and VERY satisfied with it.

Bah they didn't have it, did have several TVs that have made my mind up that the 40" is the 4K I want though, thought the LG 40UB800V looks nice, gave me an idea of scale/clarity although obviously not considering it as a monitor. Will sit and wait on the Philips one coming down in price at OCUK

I'm interested in this monitor as well, how are people using this?
Are you sitting at a desk and using it at a normal monitor or at a set distance, just unsure if it will be to large coming from a 24".
Also what are you guys using the monitor for, movies, editing, gaming, other?
How do games look if you down scale to 1080p? Or are you all playing in 4k with monster rigs?

with my older gfx card, I was gaming 1440 windowed with web pages open at the side as well as some comms apps. With a better card, I find I'm still gaming windowed until I reinstate one of my other monitors to keep an eye on the rest of the world.
I sit at the same desk I used before which had 2x 21", so this is actually slightly smaller on width, so it's not too big at all.
I tend to have a lot of windows open at once, so this screen really helps me as I can arrange them around my main app window.

at 1080p it still looks really goodPlease can someone comment on how Bluray discs look upscaled & or @ 1080 downconverted.
I am buying one soon but need to know how my BD collection will look before taking the plunge
the monitor down scales really well and looks good on games...
but i run games at 4k res as it's better.
