Wonder if anyone can help me. My brother bought Logitech heavy lift bundle (sterling wheel, petals, and some other buttons and such) for his son, and his PS5 as what his son wanted (and he swears that it what his friends use), a quick Google shows that it doesn't work with a PS5 out off the box, is there a hack or something I can do to get it to work, or is it a case of sending it back

Only had PS5 for short while but really really enjoying Demon Souls - already 27 hours in and level 70 odd
Lighting in particular looks fantastic

Me too. Was gifted a Ps5 for xmas and have caned DS on the day (between cooking / cleaning etc) and from Wed - today. Clocked it this morning on my second attempt (first character had too poor a stat spread and binned it after 12 hours).

How little of the Portal did Sony make?! I know it's Xmas time, so things get out of stock quickly, but didn't think they'd be that popular!
Is it actually in demand and popular? I sent mine back after 2 weeks of using it, it really didn't feel like it was going to be that good...

Or are people buying it thinking it's a full version of a PS5 without realising you need a PS5 to make the most of it..?

No one has had it in stock for ages, so they either distributed a criminally small amount or, indeed, it's popular. I'm sure there were plenty of kids disappointed this Xmas when the parents didn't do their research properly!

By 'make the most of it' do you mean, use it at all?

Kids got a PS5 at Christmas, they have Xbox series X as well as that's what their mates have.

Is it me or does the image quality on the PS5 blow the Xbox out of the water?

I'm not talking resolution, more general image pop on my q80t TV on the same hdmi port.
Even as far back as PS3 I noticed that PlayStation had a shaper and more colourful image. My PS4 looks better than the XBOX definitely. It's because of Black Crush, which Microsoft has never fixed. Something to do with Windows which Xbox runs off.

Yeah, it's definitely a thing, wouldn't have believed by how much until I've seen it side by side. Might have to swop back to PlayStation next time round.

Has anyone come across this issue with installing an nvme in the PS5?

Basically received a Crucial P5 Plus 1TB drive this morning, which is compatible with the PS5.

Installed it into the PS5 and nothing. Wasn't greeted with the formatting screen upon console boot up.

So installed it into my PC and drive was recognised, so the nvme isn't dead. So I've formatted it to exFAT and left file allocation to default.

I'm going to install it back into the PS5 later, hoping that it'll now be detected but has anyone had this issue before?

Update: just reinstalled the nvme into the PS5 after it was recognised and formatted in Windows, still not recognised by the PS5 :(

Does anyone here use their PS5 at 1440P? How is it? Is it supported on all games as standard or is it up to the individual devs to add it to their game?
It's a base level OS resolution so all PS5 games will run at that regardless I'd imagine. I run at that resolution and haven't had any issues of games complaining etc. I don't know if older PS4 games auto upscale to that res or not tbh.

It may need an update ? (The drive?)

Checked Crucial's website and there are no firmware updates available. The nvme is compatible with the PS5 as Crucial state this on their website and the product box.

I'd come to terms with it better if I stuck it in my PC and it wasn't recognised there but it's not. I'm now wondering if the nvme socket in my PS5 is faulty? I have a Corsair model arriving in a few days time, so I'll try with that. If I get the same issue then chances of two faulty nvme's would be pretty slim, so the PS5 could be at fault.

Just pre-ordered Tekken 8, I liked the demo and I got an Amazon gift card for Christmas so used it on that! Anyone else here planning on getting it?

Grabbed on PC for competitive play but will be getting it on PS5 as well.

Considering the time I got out of Tekken 7 and my playtime in Tekken 8 betas, I'll easily get my money's worth even at full price (which I didn't pay:P).

Was originally planning to only get it on Steam but my arcade stick works on PS5 without issues and I have a year of plus left so might as well.
