Cheers mate. Awesome.Yeah, should do. Fairly sure it applies to all digital purchases.

It's coming out on pc and I know you can play some games on ps5 using mouse and keyboard that I prefer. Just need to wait for the pc release then thanksDon’t think so? How would that work ? It’s designed to be played with the dual sense.
So to match the Sony TV ps5 or wait till ps5 pro ?
Not really in the console scene you see ?
Still absolutely zero indication a "PS5 Pro" is likely or required. If you want a console, buy a console when you're ready to buy one - don't sit around waiting for what might appear.
Everything points towards all PS5's from later this year being identical - with the "Disc Version" shipping with the detachable drive missing from the "Digital Version". There is however no indication on how slim that device will be.
Yes i get that, but i was hoping for style change as its bloody ugly![]()
Well no there isn't any definitely as nothing has been official announcedWell there's definitely a slim version of PS5 coming out later this year, it could be accompanied by a PS5 Pro.

Only consistent rumour is a detachable disc drive
No indication of a Pro. Market is much different from 2016/17 as the PS4 and XB1 where underpowered from launch and the transition to 4K was starting to be a thing so the mid-gen refreshes were needed to be viable as 4K capable machines. So to match the Sony TV ps5 or wait till ps5 pro ?

Yeah, completely agree on the last point about true next gen games.Exactly this.
Unless we see a sudden explosion/demand/sales in 8k TV's, then I doubt we'll see a Pro.
Stock availability of the PS5 is only what I would say is approaching some form of normality, 2 years after initial launch.
Also, we haven't really seen many true next gen console games due to developers designing games with the PS4 as the base platform, which is understandable given the large userbase and the fact that people are still holding on to them due to high cost/availability of the PS5.
I think the die shrink is when they normally bring out the reduced profile (ironically in pcs its normally accompanied by an increase in performance, possibly like the Pro version).Isn't the AMD CPU inside the PS5 manufactured on the TSMC 6nm process?
I'd suspect once there is a die shrink that offers better efficiency, power saving and can be cooled with a more compact heatsink/cooling solution, then we'll see a a slightly more compact PS5 slim.
The PS5 we got our daughter at Christmas really does kick out a fair amount of heat, so I can see why the PS5 is the size/design it is. I can't see how they can take all those existing components and stick it in a smaller chassis, without a decent die shrink.
I'm sure Sony would love to release a PS5 Slim without an optical drive. No doubt the end goal is to banish the optical drive and ensure purchases are made via their store only. Maybe that's the target for the PS6 and Sony will allow you to purchase a hideously overpriced, propriety external optical drive for the PS5 Slim.
Exactly this.

Exactly we need to have 4k 60fps with all the fancy stuff on.I think it would need to do 4K 'properly' before even thinking about 8K.
