Another recommendation for the Steelseries Arctis 7P+ here, they sound great, are very comfortable and are well put together so they feel like they'll last.

I had the Pulse 3D before them and found them to be uncomfortable after about an hour or so and build quality was poor; they're entirely plastic and the ear cup material was coming loose on mine despite being well looked after. Battery life wasn't as good either. The only benefit I found with them over the Steelseries is the integration with the PS5, so it'll switch the headset mic/output automatically when you turn them on which was handy.

the Sony Pulse headsets are all really uncomfortable, cheap materials

Get the Audeze Maxwell or Steelseries Nova Pro

Ps Plus extra worth it? I’ve neglected my ps5 for about a year now as I got a new PC. I was thinking of getting MW3 for some sofa gaming (if I find a cheap price), but realised I need plus again.

Is plus extra worth it or just full of older/rubbish/mostly ps4 games?

Best thing to do is check out the Extra game catalogue and then you can see if it's worth it or not. :p

Check the catalogue, for me I’ve not found it worth it, but you might. If you get the essential tier you can always upgrade to extra at a later date if there are games that take your fancy.

I find extra good value for money and it works for me, but then it boils down the kind of games you play and what you have played previously.

As others have said, check the catalogue and see how you feel.

I just went basic for a month (£7) so I could play MW3 and it gives me time to decide what to do.

I am interested in playing death stranding!
There'll be discounts for Black Friday so it's worth hanging on. Extra is good value and the range of games is pretty vast, Premium has never seemed worth bothering with though.

The discounts are already up on the blog. It's zero if you're lengthening your sub but staying on the same tier.

Any interest in this? Saw reviews popping up and I guess it releases tomorrow. Looks like decent tech but for a very limited use case. £200 is a little steep too.

Yeah, mine arrives tomorrow. Still a little unsure on it, going to see how it fits my need (i.e. wanting something to play on the sofa when my wife is watching TV / a film) but I was hoping there would be a bit more work from Sony to address the 'streaming to a screen' issues you'll always get.

LCD is a dealbreaker for me. Same reason I avoided the first steam deck hardware. Wish they had gone for an oled….

Same here, reviews seem pretty positive though. Hoping they will eventually add the cloud gaming streaming to it, but that wont be soon i don't think.

That sucks, always the 'loyal' folk who get the shaft.
