PES 2014 Demo: PS3 tomorrow
Xbox 360 12th September

Well, that didn't take long. :p

I'll give the demo a shot like I do most years. I haven't bought the game in a long time, though. :(

I'll probably be going for PES again this year, it's been back up to standard for the past 2 or 3 years at this point. Although for some reason, after really liking 2013 initially, I struggled to get into it after launch. The removal of league mode did not help, I'm just not a fan of master league these days and all the crap they've put in there, thankfully league mode is back in 2014 I believe.

As for FIFA vs Pro Evo, it's quite simple, if you've played and enjoyed FIFA for the past few years, I think there's zero chance of you buying into Pro Evo now, the quality of the product does not come into it.

FIFA is a high quality game itself and it's doing too many things right for PES to ever make back the numbers, but at least it's nice to have the choice for people that don't get on so well with FIFA.

Very dissapointed with some of the things I've heard so far. I've been a pes fan since the ps1 games. Up until now it's been the only foot ball gave I've touched (I've not touched Fifa in years).

I've recently heard the game has no Spanish clubs teams, no stadium editor or rain. Is this all true?

Has the game been rushed?

It does have the licence for BBVA teams, there's no stadium editor for whatever reason and rain hasn't been put in this year because they didn't have enough time to implement it's effects on the physics properly in the new engine.

Haven't played PES for many years but have been so frustrated with Fifa 13 that I'll give PES a go this year. Is there/will there be a demo on the 360?

No Spanish stadiums, no rain and no stadium editor is what I read.

I'm not sure the term rushed applies to a yearly released game, they have the same amount of time no matter what they do with it. If it's a year where we're talking about a change as big as a new engine, it's understandable. Whether it's acceptable comes down to the quality of the game, if it's amazing then I'll play it with rain, without rain, with one stadium in the whole game, I don't really care as long as it plays a good game off football. And if it's below par, then these omissions are irrelevant because I wouldn't like the game either way.

This isnt hitting next gen consoles is it? I hear good things, so will check out the demo tonight...

ps3ud0

I've not seen a thing, I'm guessing they'll either not bother, or release so late that it makes more sense to wait for next years game.
