3GHz so far....

just got my G0 and new gigabyte DS3R board.

Primed overnight 8hr @ 3ghz no probs - however the board does seem to have a large vdroop. set voltage to 1.35v in bios but under full load droops to 1.28v.

Will be going for more later and overnight again.

struggling for more at the moment - just keeps blue screening and rebooting within seconds of startin prime.

Error message on reboot is

C:\DOCUME~1\CHRIST~1.000\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERa528.dir00\Mini121107-04.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\CHRIST~1.000\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERa528.dir00\sysdata.xml

Is it normal for 2 cores to differ temp from the other 2 ?

cheers nick
first, that's a tiny image.

yes, mine is similar to yours, 39, 39, 34, 35 currently, seems to me core1,2 are always hotter than core3,4 for no reason. under load, it gets to around 60, 60, 55, 55.
im removing my Thermalright Ultra 120Extreme to inspect whether it's flat tomorrow, hopefully, what cooler do you use?

dq6

Got my p35 dq6, corsair quad and g0 today, tried to overclock and after i exit the bios (saving ofc) it resets the overclock settings back to auto defaults (200x9)

everything is set to manual, speedstep is disabled and yet it keeps doing this......:(

Board seems to be much more fussy than the p5k del but seems to run much cooler even without crazy crap. :D

I've had the same issue with my P35-DQ6 and sent it off for repair. Did you find a permanent fix to your problem?

I bought an Asus P5K Premium as a replacement in the meantime...

Is anyone else like me - you upgrade and think it's fab but then after a few weeks you want more again.
The next step would have to be water cooling or lapping for me, neither of which I fancy doing. :( At 3.3Ghz and at my personal load temp limit.

got mine today :D

1.25 VID

3.618ghz on 1.42v :D

Lets get this going :)

Is that from here? i got the retail one :)
1.2375 VID - it looked dodgy on auto so set it manually to 1.25V and has been priming @ 3.06ghz. Load temps seem to be hitting 32C max so will do more tomorrow and hope i can join the 4GHZ club :D

Need a little help. Took delivery of my Q6600 today, along with an Asus Maximus Extreme X38 and 2GB OCZ DDR3 1600Mhz memory.

I already have 2 2900Pro's clocked to 850Mhz and two seperate water cooled loops.

1. PA120.2 (CPU)
2. PA120.3 (NB, both GPU's)

Could someone give me some pointers on getting the best out of this new CPU?

Many Thanks
