We have been chatting a lot about Resident Evil games in a Silent Hill thread recently. I thought maybe we can have a dedicated Resident Evil games thread where we can talk about all the RE rather than chatter being here there everywhere in either dedicated RE game threads or in a Silent Hill thread 
Just watched this and I have to say I agree with most if not all of what the guy said. That is why I have always said RE2 Remake is not as good as people make out imo. It is good yes, but not as good as the original and they needed to be more ambitious with it. RE3 Remake is no way near as good as it should have been

I just have a special place for the classics I think. The newer games can be fun, but they just don't have the same atmosphere.
For those who liked the classics like me, I recommend grabbing the bundle below from GOG. You can download the games and never need any launcher for them which is great. Basically no DRM.

Remember to download the Japanese versions if you want that mod to work properly. I downloaded both English and Jap ones. Doesn't make a difference to the game, but I am guessing different file names between the two and the guy who made the mod did so for the jap version for some reason.

Also consider The Evil Within 1/2, it's by the Resi guy
They did not do it for me unfortunately. Much preferred Tormented Souls to those.

Same, I did 4 levels and it was frustrating and not in a good way.
The plot apparently is a bit meh, too.
