Well not long to go now, seems like forever ago i preordered my Wii.

Picking mine up tomorrow at 7am but won't be able to play it til after work at 5:30pm :(

So guys, show us what you've bought ( or not in some cases :( )
 
I went to XXXXXXX for about quater to 12 and about 10 people waiting for the pre-order (30 pre-orders to the store) and one tit with a video camera :S

They had NO Wii Remotes or Wii Classic pads, quite a few games, and I saw 4 component cables on the shelf and wiied my pants, couldnt believe they had any I got 2 another lad got 1, these will sell for like £50+ Got a Zelda because they are suppose to in shortage and a wii nunchuck.

xxxx has loads of chairs in there but nobody was left I went at about half past after leaving xxxxxxxx, they had a couple of games and 4 classic pads and that was it for acessories, got 2 for £15 each.

Pretty chuffed really.

Just got back from the same store as poster above. Only had 7 Component cables apparently which went before I got there and no wii remotes. Managed to get my Wii, Nunchuck the last Classic Controller and Rayman. About 30 people there, good atmosphere about half of the staff playing Wii sports by the entrance.

wow, all they did at mine was let people in one by one, no more than 1 person, so you mates had to wait outside, about 5 drunk people walking past trying to buy one :rolleyes:

They had no Wii connnected and most of the people in the queue scared me, one was filming a line of 10 people :confused:
 
Well, 7 hrs in a supermarket and i'm home.

No Component Cable :mad:

I was number 16 out of 45 in a supermarket, people had been queuing since this morning, i got there at half 5. Just updating online :)
 
Got home about 12.45, with a console, Zelda and a Nunchuck.

Store I got mine from at the Metro Centre had a few component cables around, quite a few classic controllers, but not RGB cables or Wii Play. Could have bought a few extra bits and bobs to make some money but couldnt be bothered. Got what I wanted almost, and will pop into a few shops first thing in the morning.

Had a quick game of bowling and golf, cant say Im overly thrilled so far but it is early morning so will give a better review once Ive had a good go tomorrow.

Also ended up with a cap, pen, mouse mat and pad of paper all Wii branded.

Have taken some pics but cant be bothered uploading and saving them, might sort them out tomorrow. After all, you all know what they look like!

Cables are upstairs, Im down. Too many stairs :D

Did a bit of Xmas shopping, went to see Tenacious D and waited around for about 30 mins. Only around 4 people there at 12 midnight, quite quiet.

Just updating online, almost done :)

Edit - Or maybe not, finished one update now its on another :p

Got mine at a supermarket in glasgow. 31 of 45. queue was filled by 7pm.
Got Wii, zelda, and wii play. no component cables :(

Staying sealed i'm afraid, pressie!

Didn't want to run the risk of not getting one before christmas although the staff at a supermarket said they were getting more in a week or so. Hopefully some component cables too!!
 
Wasn't that Stewart guy a miserable sod? (the supermarket guy with the Tea) lol.

Oh we got tea and biscuits at our launch everyone :D

Damn them and their lack of component cables. The games bit was a bit of a shambles. they could have put them on shelves and cordoned that bit off until midnight or sommet. i didn't really get to see what else they had, just asked if they had component cables and was met with a "no" from our friend Stewart lol
