Not sure if there's a dedicated thread but just seen this, seems odd as Steam is widely regarded as one of the most consumer friendly stores in gaming.

It takes 30% from developers other stores don't.

It's reputation exceeds its policies IMO.
 
Seems like an industry standard though when the likes of Apple, Sony and Microsoft are doing the same.
It’s not in the PC market.

Pretty much all the other stores take considerably less, the main exception is the MS store but no one uses it. Epic, GoG etc take 10-15%.
